After the Health Insurance battle, a tired Congress adjourned without extending the Federal Flood Insurance Program. Now is the time to schedule a review of your Homeowner’s Insurance. It is also a good time to add Flood Insurance if your home is in a location prone to floods or high water. And don’t forget about your beach or lake property! Hurricane Season will soon be upon us and the experts are predicting a strong season this year with as many as 16 to 18 tropical storms. According to an article published in the Insurance Journal, Hurricane Forecaster Joe Bastardi, with the AccuWeather.com Hurricane Center states that 15 of those storms will be in the western Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico regions. Bastardi is also predicting that five of those storms will be hurricanes with two or three being major landfall events for the United States. Protect yourself and your property–schedule a “Care Review” today. Click on the Flood Insurance and and Hurricane tags below for more information.

On March 2, 1982 I took a bold step and left a management position with a national hotel chain to become a rookie sales agent for Nationwide Insurance. As we celebrate our 28th year as a Nationwide agent and agency owner we are reminded of a simple truth that was presented to us as new agents:
No one will ever perform a better human service than to secure the needs of others.
We founded our agency on the principles of service to our customers and want to thank each of you for your loyal support. We appreciate each of you and look forward to continuing to serve your insurance needs for many more years.
Thank-you.
Harold Britt
